‘Portrait Concert at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’

Royal Birmingham Conservatoire recently hosted a birthday portrait concert of Ed’s music featuring the Thallein Ensemble and legendary saxophonist Paul Dunmall. The concert featured four of Ed’s works ‘Sometimes Everything Falls Apart’, ‘Spirals’, Tailbird’ and ‘Dzama Stories’ alongside brand new works by student composers written especially for the concert and in reaction to Ed’s music and influences. Ed was Reader in Composition at RBC for many years and still works with students there on a regular basis.
