Freefalling features in the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland’s 2022/23 season.

Ed’s Orchestral work ‘Freefalling’ will feature in the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland’s 2022/23 season in a concert conducted by the New Zealand conductor Gemma New at the National Concert Hall in Dublin next March. ‘Freefalling’ was commissioned by RTE and premiered in 2013 as the opening work of the NSO’s season. It is inspired by the image of daredevil Felix Baumgartener’s free fall jump to earth from the edge of the earths atmosphere. It will open this concert on 24th March which also includes music by Tchaikovsky and Beethoven. Click on this the link for details
