Gold.Berg.Werk

Ed has recently featured as a performer of live electronics on two releases by pianist Xenia Pestova. Austrian composer Karlheinz Essl’s ‘Gold.Berg.Werk’ is a reimagining of Bach’s Goldberg Variations whilst Canadian composer Gayle Young’s ‘Ice Creek’ is a collection of experimental works for piano, live electronics and field recordings. Xenia and Ed have performed both records live on multiple occasions including at Cork Jazz Festival, London’s Cafe Oto and the MAC in Belfast whilst the recordings have also enjoyed broadcasts on BBC and RTE as well as receiving several critically acclaimed reviews.
