Ed’s orchestral work ‘Freefalling’ recently featured in a BBC Radio Invitation Concert in the Ulster Hall, Belfast. The concert was conducted by David Brophy and broadcast later on Radio 3.

Ed’s Orchestral work ‘Freefalling’ will feature in the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland’s 2022/23 season in a concert conducted by the New Zealand conductor Gemma New at the National Concert Hall in Dublin next March.

Ed has been working over the last two years on a new project ‘Strangeness Untitled’  with cellist and artistic director of the Crash Ensemble Kate Ellis for a virtual cello octet.

’21 Exotic Objects’ for piano and electronic media was premiered by Xenia Pestova at the Sonorities Festival in Belfast this April.

The award-winning choreographer Fiona Quilligan has been working with Ed on her latest dance work ‘Ancestor’.

Ed recently performed with pianist Xenia Pestova at BBC Radio 3’s ‘After Dark’ festival at the iconic Sage concert hall in Gateshead UK.

Ed was recently commissioned along with several other Irish composers and film makers to create a new work marking the centenary of the publication of Ulysses by James Joyce.

Ed has recently featured as a performer of live electronics on two releases by pianist Xenia Pestova.

The Walled City Music Festival recently commissioned Ed to write a new solo piano work for their international piano competition taking place in July 2022.
